The flour was an absolute dream to bake with – powdery and feather-light and the closest thing to conventional all-purpose flour this Examiner has used since going gluten free a decade ago. In fact, we’d say it performed even better than its conventional counterpart, with a lighter weight and completely lump-free consistency that eliminated the need for sifting. Just wanted to thank you for your flour. For the first time in more than 4 years, I had a piece of homemade cherry pie. Your flour made a great pie crust. Yummm!! I was a little hesitant to try, but so glad I did. My family enjoyed it as well, and said that they couldn’t tell that the crust was gluten-free. I’m so excited to be able to bake pies again. My mother-in-law made me a red velvet cake with your all purpose GF flour, and it ROCKED. Absolutely the best ever. She’s made it for years with rice flour, and I loved it. But this time, everyone agreed, it was as good as the original, and by far the best GF anything, we’ve ever tasted. She makes it the correct way, with baking soda, I think vinegar?, and tons of red food coloring. It’s not just chocolate cake made red, it’s real red velvet cake. And it was AWESOME! Jules! Thank YOU for your beer bread bun recipe! They went over GREAT at the Celiac Support Group picnic last night, both the hamburger buns that i’d made the day before, and then the hot dog buns i made the day of. Truly, thank you! Used your flour yesterday to make pizza muffins. While I love to make your homemade pizza dough, I don’t always have the time. This was a happy medium.
