4 out of 5 of us at my house are GF-not by choice, but medical necessity and my youngest (daughter) is a girl scout. She is sad every year at cookie time because the troop has a night when they get to sample the cookies and she can't. It is sad to see so many people will be missing out and that girl scouts isn't doing something about this. This is not a diet fad, but a real issue for many people.

Tonya, that is a heartbreaking story. It's sad to think that an organization founded for the right reasons would wind up being so mired in form over substance that it couldn't see beyond itself to accommodate one of its own. So glad, though, that you and your daughter will now be able to make your "favorites" safely at home!
