Perhaps it’s the Southern Girl in me, but I love giving gifts. Birthdays and gift-giving holidays don’t come around often enough for me though, so I’ve decided to create more occasions to give fun stuff to my friends!

In my gluten-free world, the release of this video is excuse enough for me! I’m really excited about this video, as it represents a TON of baking and time photographing my recipes. The funny part is that it’s just the tip of my baking iceburg, so to speak, but it’s still a lot of food!

I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I do – when I can’t think of what I want to make next, I always get hungry from something in this video that gives me a good idea for my next meal or treat!

Have a look, and leave a comment telling me which food you see that’s your favorite! Leave another comment telling me which testimonial at the end of the video is your favorite. Each of these comments (you can leave up to 2) will enter you to win goodies!!! (I suppose, technically, you could get a friend to comment for you too, increasing your odds of winning … if they agree to share the prize!)

1st prize: Jules Gluten Free Welcome Pack:

One 5-pound bag of my All Purpose Flour that you can use to make ANY of the foods in this video

+

my Baker’s Dozen E-book with 13 no-compromise, easy-to-make recipes (many of those pictured in the video!) & my ingredient substitution guide for other food sensitivities or allergies, all in a handy electronic format

2d prize: My favorite new, super cool Thermador t-shirt, emblazened with the important question, “Do You Cook?” in full Swarovski Crystal bling!

Leave 2 comments by Saturday July 9 12:00pm ET for 2 chances to win!

Just about everything in the video would be food that I love, but if I had to narrow it down, I’d say the sandwich bread and doughnuts (though I still have yet to actually try making doughnuts).

I thought after 2 years of being the only celiac in the house, I would never be able to have flour based products(cookies, biscuits, my grandmother’s recipe for noodles) again and silently cried on the inside when others were enjoying these normally gluten filled foods. Now, I can make them for everyone and enjoy the simply joy of sharing with my family and feeling like I’m just like them. What a great montage! I loved the look of the berry pie and dumplings. The bread slice on the knife was a great way to show you can have “real” bread. My favorite comments were the first 3 at the end of the video.

I’m so excited to have found your flour so I can start baking again. I can’t wait for my next order to arrive so I can try baking some family favorites for the first time gluten free!

I must say that everything you say on the video is correct. I am a baker at heart, passed down from my mother, her mother, etc. and your flour has allowed me to continue to spoil my children with all the favorites I grew up with. My favorite thing to bake is biscuits and with that base, I have been able to expand off that recipe for many other baked goods. The beautiful cake with pink frosting in the video gets me! I have made a red velvet and vanilla cupcakes with your flour. Thanks Jules!

The best testimonial you use in the video is about using the one to one replacement. It is important for someone to know how easy it is to buy and use your flour without multiple products and measurements. This really is baking made easy.

I remember the first thing I ate that was Gluten Free. A ginger cookie from a health food store. I thought OMG is this what my life has become. I threw out the entire package. Then I started buying various flours and started baking. What an experience. Griddy heavy doughs! Again more in the trash. Then I found Jules Gluten Free. You have changed my life forever. I am your poster child in NC. Yes your flour may be a little pricey, but at least you don’t have to throw the products out. There is no better pizza then the one made with your flour, not frozen or in a restaurant. My Non-celiac husband loves it. All your recipes are fabulous.

Phylis – we have all been there! It is so frustrating that food companies manufacture some gluten-free foods that taste like the box they came in, and they expect us to settle! It makes me so mad every time I sample them at shows or make the mistake of buying something like that myself. My celiac mom does it often as well, but we are both convinced that there is no substitute for making it yourself. You know what goes into it and you love what comes out! So glad you and your hubbie are in a happy gluten-free place now!!!

Carrie – they were pierogies, but you could easily make them into Chinese dumplings! Such an easy recipe, too!! Here’s the recipe & video for ya!

I miss pizza so much! I have only been gluten free for 2 weeks now as my doctor and I think I may have gluten intolerance. It is sure a struggle right now. Great video! It gives me hope. ;)

I loved the testimonial that said you can use the flour the same as others in recipes. Awesome!

Loved the video – if it weren’t midnight, I’d have to head to the kitchen to whip up a few of those baked goodies!

I loved the comment from the lady who said her family couldn’t believe she was eating GF cake!

The video left me salivating followed by drooling :) Would love to learn how to do all that for Christmas presents for family & friends. Show them a delicious but healthier way of cooking!

Tammie – I LOVE the idea! I’ll check with Thermador and let you know! Thanks for all your support (moral or otherwise!) of our GF Food Labeling efforts! We should be hearing something from the FDA by the end of this month or early August, for sure!
